Laura and Joe are a prime example of a couple that approached us based purely on recommendation as Laura’s cousin had worked with Adam back in the day and insisted that they spoke with us and we’re so glad they did as they were a truly lovely couple and it was an honour to be part of their special day.
They had thought of every detail for their wedding and decorated the stunning Hornington Manor to perfection and their beautiful décor teamed with the already gorgeous venue really gave it a warm, cosy and home-from-home feel on what was a cold November day.
A reading that was recited during the ceremony touched not only the guests but also all the staff that it is too beautiful not to share with you:
“We all have dreams. From the youngest age we dream of what we might be when we grow up, and that sense of ambition or aspiration endures.
For the longest time dreams are about things. I want to do something: I want to be something: I want to own something. But then one day a dream walks into our life in the form of a person, and everything changes. Dreams no longer seem like a goal to be reached, they’re a future to build together, they’re family and they’re filling your world with memories.
It might take some time to adjust to this. Maybe you have to wrestle with the idea that all those dreams you had growing up just don’t seem as important anymore. And it’s not that they aren’t, it’s just that you’ve changed, and ultimately that’s a great thing. You are investing in people and lives. And what can mean more than that?
So keep dreaming. Dream big. Dream as big as you can possibly imagine. Because when your dreams are the people you love, they’ll come true every day”
