From his start in Lincolnshire studying hospitality management, to a move to Scotland that quickly saw him working at the iconic Gleneagles Hotel, to working for Simon Rogan at L’enclume and Rogan & Co in the Lake District. Black Peppermint’s Chef Director Adam has always had exacting standards and a passion for food.

A move back his native East Midlands brought with it the opportunity to use that wealth of experience and launch a new venture in the event catering sector and showcase just what can be achieved.

A dedicated team was assembled and, with a few sample tastings the bookings came rolling in.

From those early days the team and the business has consistently expanded and now has an incredibly varied skills base and all share the same passion and dedication.

With the skills from his years at such a high level of establishments together with the team’s experience of catering for some of the highest profile events and most amazingly varied weddings, Adam and the team have consistently raised the bar and pushed the boundaries of what can be achieved in some of the most challenging environments whilst cooking and serving fantastic food.

We now bring all these elements together to offer some of the most fantastic food and service, built around you, with completely bespoke menus for your wedding or event.

Alongside the constant expansion from the event catering side, we also offer bar service, with complete bar set ups in varied sizes and configurations to suit your venue, along with dedicated bar staff, serving a great variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Our exceptional standards and consistency have led to us being sole caterer in many wedding venues across Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, and preferred caterer in many of the most prestigious wedding and event venues across the East Midlands.

Of course, you can still find us sending amazing food from our outdoor catering set ups in the middle of some of the most varied places though. Our versatility and love of a challenge has never left us!
